Wall mirror with a hand-carved frame and bronze finish. Designed as a decorative wall piece that reflects light while adding texture and dimension to a space. Each frame shows slight variations in carving and finish.
Origin:
Peru. Inspired by the dazzling sun that warms the Cuzco Valley, Peruvian artisans hand-carved the frame using a centuries-old technique once used to create religious sculptures.
How to use:
Hang securely on a wall using appropriate hardware. Place it in areas where it can reflect natural or ambient light to open up the space. Works well as a standalone piece or as part of a gallery wall.
Each piece is made through direct partnerships with Peruvian artisans, with no middlemen involved. Luna Sundara supports traditional craftsmanship, ethical production, and long-term relationships with the communities behind each piece.

Care
Traditional Peruvian mirrors are created using a traditional technique where gold leaf is applied to a hand carved wooden shape. This inherently makes the mirrors delicate but beautiful. Clean with a soft cloth or duster. The mirror can be clean by applying a small amount of glass cleaner to a soft cloth or paper towel and cleaning in a circular motion. Avoid using chemical cleaners on the gold leaf.

I ordered six sunbursts and absolutely love them. They seemed a bit small to go with my other artwork so I ordered the larger size.
