Black matte ceramic Palo Santo holder designed to hold Palo Santo sticks or incense. Dimensions: 5 in x 5 in x 0.5 in. Includes 5 Palo Santo sticks and 1 cotton drawstring bag. Each piece shows natural variations in tone and finish due to the handmade process.
Each ceramic cup is shaped by hand using traditional techniques, then finished through a smoking process that gives it its deep black tone. No two pieces are exactly the same*
Origin:
Chulucanas, Peru. Handcrafted using traditional Northern Peruvian ceramic techniques. The Palo Santo is sourced from the Piura region of Peru, harvested from naturally fallen trees, and aged before use. Luna Sundara has worked directly with these artisans and harvesting communities for over 10 years.
How to use:
Place the holder on a heat-safe surface. Hold the Palo Santo stick at a 45° angle, light the tip, and allow it to burn for about 30 seconds. Gently blow out the flame and rest the stick in the holder while the smoke moves through your space. The holder can also be used with incense sticks.
Each piece is made through direct partnerships with Peruvian artisans, with no middlemen involved. Luna Sundara supports traditional craftsmanship, ethical production, and long-term relationships with the communities behind each piece.*

Chulucanas ceramics are delicate. The design is applied through a smoking process and can easily be damaged. Wipe down with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use any abrasive materials for cleaning. The ceramics are not dishwasher safe.

Absolutely love this bought one for myself and another for a friend. We both were so impressed with the quality of the product and they even included a free gift. Product came in sturdy boxes and a dust bag. They really care about the presentation of the product and it shows. The Palo Santos holder is a work of art that deserves a spot in a museum! To imagine the artist creating a piece this lovely under the primitive conditions in which they have to work is just mind boggling! I’m not sure what it was that I was expecting when I ordered it; just something to hold the wood while it smoldered, but after holding it in my hand I came to the conclusion that I was gripping something truely unique! My hat is off to these artisans. They deserve more recognition than they receive.

The items were as presented and the scent is so non commercial. I have not gotten that tribal mystic ritual experience, but I’m on the floor at lest 5 mornings per week with my legs crossed giving thanks to the forest and to all those who respect the trees.

My package arrived broken and they were SO quick to fix it. They got the package out the next day and were so very kind about it and I received it quickly. The wood comes in a beautiful little bag. 🩷 The Palo Santo wood holder is perfect and the wood itself is so fragrant. When I lit it up the stick they don’t stay on , they burn for like 2 mins, I get white smoke then it turn off. I have keep doing it So many times. It looks like the wood it’s not properly working the way it’s intended.

When i went for my last facial, I noticed a fresh smell when I entered the room. I asked what smelled so good and they shared the name of your product. I ordered the holder and 5 sticks when I got home and they arrived a few days later. I light a stick every few days and walk around our home to spread the wonderful, clean smell. Just love it.

This is my first time ordering from Luna and I can say I was very impressed with the careful packaging. The intricate design on the bowl is gorgeous. Quality products. This will now be my spot for all things Palo santo.
The right combination for me. Scent is very calming. Be aware of the smoke if you have smoke detectors/smoke alarms. I had to move mine to a location further than I liked.
