A handmade piece that holds incense while becoming part of your space.
Handcrafted ceramic incense holder designed for Palo Santo or incense sticks. Includes a cotton drawstring bag for storage. Available in a range of colors. Each piece varies slightly in shape, tone, and finish due to the handmade process.
Each ceramic cup is shaped by hand using traditional techniques, then finished through a smoking process that gives it its deep black tone. No two pieces are exactly the same.*
Origin:
Chulucanas, Peru. Handmade by skilled artisans using traditional Northern Peruvian pottery techniques. Luna Sundara has worked directly with these artisan communities for over 10 years, supporting craftsmanship and small-batch production.
How to use:
Place the holder on a stable, heat-safe surface. Insert a Palo Santo stick or incense securely. Light the tip, allow it to burn briefly, then extinguish the flame and let the smoke rise. Clean ash after use and store it in the cotton bag when not in use.
Each piece is made through direct partnerships with Peruvian artisans, with no middlemen involved. Luna Sundara supports traditional craftsmanship, ethical production, and long-term relationships with the communities behind each piece.*

Care
Chulucanas ceramics are delicate. The design is applied through a smoking process and can easily be damaged. Wipe down with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use any abrasive materials for cleaning. The ceramics are not dishwasher safe.

The holders are beautiful and hold my favorites Palo incense premium sticks. The sticks burn so well and give me an my home my favorite incense and they burn perfectly and make having that incense so easy to enjoy
This is the second incense holder i have purchased for my home, i also got the red one. I love them so, so much. They look so good on my mantel. I also bought 2 more, one for a gift for my mother and the other for my aunt. They loved them so much they had me send them both where I got them from so that that could get them as gifts for someone else.

Beautiful incense holder! The hole was the correct size for standard thin incense sticks which we use at home. It was a little small for the thicker sticks that we also bought from Luna Sundara (which we love!)- we ended up using a screwdriver tip to widen the hole a bit, and now it works perfectly for both. Catches all the ash and adds a beautiful decorative element to the home!
The bowl is beautifully crafted and looks terrific.
The scent of these incense fills our house up and all you need is one to enjoy it earthy scent. And the incense holder is perfect it doesn’t leave ashes around it, it all remains in the container.
