Each piece varies in pattern, tone, and form due to the firing process. Each ceramic cup is shaped by hand using traditional techniques, then finished through a smoking process that gives it its deep black tone. No two pieces are exactly the same.*
Origin: Chulucanas, Piura region, Peru. Crafted by ceramicists using techniques rooted in over 3,000 years of tradition. Luna Sundara has worked directly with artisan families in this region since the brand’s founding.
How to use: Place the holder on a stable, heat-safe surface. Rest your Palo Santo or incense stick at a slight angle in the groove. Allow ash to collect and clean after use. Hand wash gently and avoid full submersion.

Care
Chulucanas ceramics are delicate. The design is applied through a smoking process and can easily be damaged. Wipe down with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use any abrasive materials for cleaning. The ceramics are not dishwasher safe.

Please accept my heartfelt thanks and gratitude for the joy I felt yesterday after opening the beautiful, utilitarian Palo Santo holder and sticks! The handmade holder is exquisite and the Palo Santo wood is fresh, and aromatic! My package arrived so expertly wrapped with care and --I especially appreciated instruction manual for use and a sample of Palo Santo incense to try!

Shipped in a nice little drawstring satchel bag has two little holes inside the middle of the Santo Palo burner si it serves for both regular insence and the Santo Palo wood pieces.
