Starburst Peruvian Wall Mirror

Wall mirror with a hand-carved starburst frame and bronze finish. Designed as a decorative piece that adds texture, movement, and reflection to a room. Each frame shows slight variations in carving and finish.

Origin:
Peru. Hand-carved and gilded by artisan communities using traditional techniques once used in religious sculpture. Inspired by the sun of the Cuzco Valley. Luna Sundara has worked directly with Peruvian artisans for over 10 years.

How to use:
Hang securely on a wall using appropriate hardware. A place where it can reflect natural or ambient light to brighten the space. Works well as a focal point or layered within a gallery wall.

Traditional Peruvian mirrors are created using a traditional technique where gold leaf is applied to a hand carved wooden shape. This inherently makes the mirrors delicate but beautiful. Clean with a soft cloth or duster. The mirror can be clean by applying a small amount of glass cleaner to a soft cloth or paper towel and cleaning in a circular motion. Avoid using chemical cleaners on the gold leaf.
