Care

Chulucanas ceramics are delicate. The design is applied through a smoking process and can easily be damaged. Wipe down with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use any abrasive materials for cleaning. The ceramics are not dishwasher safe.

Luna Sundara has been working closely with Mr. Luis Humberto Sandoval and artisans from Chulucanas, Peru to create beautiful pieces of pottery in various styles. This method of creating pottery has been used by the people of Chulucanas for generations. It is a beautiful process that we hope to support by finding new styles that have practical uses. We currently are creating pieces that can be used as palo santo holders, incense holders and more.

When large orders are placed, the artisans work together in a community. They empower each other and work together to improve the economy in their town. Please help us spread the word and create a better future for these talented artists.
